To set a printer installed on your computer as your default printer follow the steps below:

  1. Click the start button.
  2. In Windows 7 click Devices and Printers.
  3. From the printers installed, right click the one you want to be your default.
  4. Click Set as Default Printer.

This will now be the default printer when you print.


Please note this setting does not affect Google Chrome.  You still need to pick your printer using the “change” button when in Google Chrome to select that printer.
Please note this setting is per user based meaning it only affects you on the specific computer you have set it on.
