How to enable remote control on Chrome OS

Chrome OS comes with a built-in feature to let others see and control your screen remotely and in real time.

To enable remoting on your Chrome device, you just need to follow these steps:

.1Click on the Chrome Remote Desktop icon (if you can't find it, please refer to the bottom of the article).
.2Make sure you are on the "Remote Support" section of the left side bar, then click on "+ Generate Code."
.3A randomized code will appear on the screen. Share this code with the person trying to remote on to your device.
.4The system will show a pop-up asking for a final permission. Click on "share".

If you can't find the Remote Desktop application:

Click on the Search icon (sometimes referred to as the "O" icon) on the bottom left of the screen, there you will find all of the apps installed.
