Student Nintendo Switch Setup - ESports

You must have your Nintendo Switch’s MAC address submitted by the ESports Coach prior to setting this up

  • On the switch go to yourSystem Settings -> Internet
  • Go to Internet Settings:

  • Find and connect to ‘HPS-Guest‘
  • Once connected go back to it in the SSID/Wi-Fi list and choose ‘Change Settings‘:

  • Select where it says ‘DNS Settings‘ and choose ‘Manual‘:

  • Update the address by selecting the ‘Primary DNS‘, then repeat for the ‘Secondary DNS‘:

  • Set the ‘Primary DNS’ to:8.8.8.8
  • Set the ‘Secondary DNS’ to:8.8.4.4

  • When complete it should look like the below. Select Save:

  • Lastly choose ‘Connect to this network’, it should show Successfully Connected:
