New Students & Families (Start Here)

Agreements to Sign

If you are a returning student/family that was previously enrolled in Hopedale, you do not need to re-sign anything.
You will need your student's ID number to sign the technology agreements.

If you have your Aspen family portal account,  click here  to see how to look it up.

If you do not have Aspen access yet, the building office can provide you the student ID number.

Acceptable Use of Technology

All students K-12 have Hopedale school accounts (using Google email accounts @hopedaleschools.org) that used throughout their school career.
All Students K-12 must sign and agree to the  Acceptable Use of Technology , without signing the AUP students cannot receive their accounts.

This is a school committee policy that goes over the proper use and care of our district's technology hardware and systems.

1:1 Device Agreement

At HPS we have a  1:1 Device Program  for students in grades 6-12 where devices can go between home and school for academic use.
Students in K-5 have classroom devices (ipads or chromebooks) that stay within the classroom.
All Students 6-12 must sign and agree to the 1:1 Device Agreement for the  1:1 Device Program , without signing the 1:1 device agreement students will not receive their 1:1 device.

Aspen Family Portal & Report Cards

In Hopedale we use a system called Aspen as our Student Information System. It houses all of our student information such as demographic information, contact information, grades, report cards, health information, attendance and more.

As a parent/guardian you will receive access to the portal to:

See student information such as class attendance and grades for assignments, quizzes, tests and class grades (6-12)
Receive your students report cards (K-12)

As a student you will receive access to the portal to:

Do course selections every year (7-11)
See your class grade performance for all classes (7-12)
