Agreements to Sign

If you are a returning student/family that was previously enrolled in Hopedale, you do not need to re-sign anything.
You will need your student's ID number to sign the technology agreements.

If you have your Aspen family portal account,  click here  to see how to look it up.

If you do not have Aspen access yet, the building office can provide you the student ID number.


Google Additional Services Consent (New 2025)

  • We require you to sign this form once per school year to either consent or opt out of the Google Additional Services for your child.
  • Please fill out the  form here  (one for each child) and ensure their Hopedale School Email address is correct when submitting as it’s used to sync to our systems.

Additional Services Information

In addition to creating and managing their core Google Workspace for Education account, we also allow students to access certain other Google services with their Google Workspace for Education accounts.
Google has recently changed their terms and conditions for services outside of their core education services, referring to them as Additional Services. These Additional Services now require annual parental consent to enable them for your child.
You can review the list of additional services and their individual terms of use  here .Please review Google’s Workspace for Education Notice to Parents and Guardians for information on the differences between the Core and Additional services, what information is collected and how it can be used and what information is shared. Your child may have access to the following “Additional Services” in our district with your consent:

  • Applied Digital Skills
  • Google Arts and Culture
  • Google Maps
  • Google Earth
  • Google My Maps
  • Google Bookmarks
  • Google Chrome Web Store
  • Google Play Store
  • Google Public Data
  • Google Managed Play Store
  • Google Books
  • Google Translate
  • Looker Studio
  • YouTube (filtered for Education)

Further, we allow students to access additional third-party services with their Google Workspace for Education accounts. Our school administrator enables access to these third-party services with your student’s Google Workspace for Education account, and authorizes the disclosure of data, as requested by the third party services such as to log in with their Google account, save and upload files from their Google Drive using the third party service and access their Google Classroom information such as school work from the third party service


Acceptable Use of Technology

  • All students K-12 have Hopedale school accounts (using Google email accounts @hopedaleschools.org) that used throughout their school career.
All Students K-12 must sign and agree to the  Acceptable Use of Technology , without signing the AUP students cannot receive their accounts.

This is a school committee policy that goes over the proper use and care of our district's technology hardware and systems.


1:1 Device Agreement

  • At HPS we have a  1:1 Device Program  for students in grades 6-12 where devices can go between home and school for academic use.
  • Students in K-5 have classroom devices (ipads or chromebooks) that stay within the classroom.
All Students 6-12 must sign and agree to the 1:1 Device Agreement for the  1:1 Device Program , without signing the 1:1 device agreement students will not receive their 1:1 device.


Aspen Family Portal & Report Cards

In Hopedale we use a system called Aspen as our Student Information System. It houses all of our student information such as demographic information, contact information, grades, report cards, health information, attendance and more.



As a parent/guardian you will receive access to the portal to:

  • See student information such as class attendance and grades for assignments, quizzes, tests and class grades (6-12)
  • Receive your students report cards (K-12)


As a student you will receive access to the portal to:

  • Do course selections every year (7-11)
  • See your class grade performance for all classes (7-12)
