Ipevo Document Camera – Writing/Drawing/Annotating
How to write, annotate, etc. on top of your iPevo document camera for use with Smartboards, projectors, etc.
Install the Ipevo Whiteboard Extension
Add this extension to your Chrome account:
Ipevo is discontinuing their Chrome Extension after 2024. You can use the Progressive Web App (website URL) here on Chromebooks:
Using the Whiteboard Extension
.1When you first open, it will popup stating it doesn’t see a ‘IW2’. Click Use mouse only:
2. At the top click Select Camera and select your Document camera. If it isn’t detected, close the app, reconnect the USB document camera and relaunch the app.
3. You can now use the tools on the side to draw on the document camera’s presentation:
4. To save your annotations as a PDF for future use, click Export at the top -> PDF and save the downloaded file to your Drive.
